Mitchell Johnson bowled one of the more curious deliveries seen in Test cricket when he released the ball from behind the umpire late on day three of the third Test at Edgbaston.

Johnson had troubles on the previous two balls, spraying one down leg side before bowling a wide, which Ian Healy referred to as a “left-handed Harmy” in reference to former English pace bowler Steven Harmison’s woes during the 2006/2007 Ashes series.
